We have finally come to the end of 2019, and thus Week 53, which concludes our weekly YOUR MOMENT OF MUSIC AND ART series.  For this week's video, Wendell has decided to combine two paintings as a means of expressing the duality of the season ("Snow Field At Night," acrylic on paper 8 x 10, 2019 and "Nocturne #10," acrylic on canvas 30 x 40, 2013).  In the midst of the coldest, darkest days of the year, we dream of spring,  aware that we are now moving toward the light, with thoughts of warmth and renewal.  Fitting music for the end of the year is Pam's arrangement of "Auld Lang Syne" (you may hear bagpipes, fiddle, and music box!).  Thanks for watching and listening and HAPPY NEW YEAR! Chopin's C# Minor Mazurka, Op. 63 No. 3 is one of Chopin's most beautiful pieces,, and one of my very favorites to play.
